New Orleans light still shines! There will be a LUNA Fête 2020!

New Orleans needs inspiration now more than ever, and with your help, the Arts Council will once again light up our city during LUNA Fête with rays of hope and healing.

Instead of focusing on our traditional Lafayette Square site, due to public health concerns this year’s celebration will be a deconstructed, less centralized experience, spanning 2 weekends, featuring safe viewing and uplifting messaging across the city.

We will be projecting artwork across Southern Rep Theatre, various murals, and sites along the Lafitte Greenway while also using lasers and lights to share messages of hope across the city. We will also be celebrating our success installing permanent light-based artworks across LUNA Fête’s 7-year history and partnering with various community organizations across the city to illuminate their efforts to amplify artists.

LUNA Fête 2020 is already proving to bring the community together, but we still need sponsors and supporters to make it shine bright.
