The Emerging Local Artist Membership provides resources, recognition, and opportunities that help artists build momentum in the first three years of their creative careers*. Whether you’re honing your craft, building your portfolio, or just getting started, this membership is here to support your journey.

As an Emerging Local Artist Member, you’ll receive:

  • Access to one behind-the-scenes artist studio tour annually – gain inspiration and insights from established artists in their creative spaces.
  • 30% off LUNA Studios training sessions – sharpen your skills with hands-on professional development designed for working artists.
  • 15% off art supplies and 10% off custom framing at David Art Center – save on the essentials that keep your practice thriving.
  • Invitations to Arts New Orleans public art unveilings and mural dedications (3+ annually) – celebrate the transformation of our shared environments and connect with peers.
  • Recognition at artsneworleans.org – highlighting your contribution to the city’s thriving arts community.

Good to Know

The Emerging Local Artist Membership is $60 and lasts for one year. Payment can be made in full (one donation of $60/year) or in monthly installments (twelve donations of $5/month). If making one full payment, select "annually" for Donation Frequency. If making monthly payments, select "monthly" for Donation Frequency. *After three years as an Emerging Local Artist member, artists will be encouraged to transition to Local Artist membership.
